Ogechi Akalegbere

Ogechi Akalegbere currently serves as the Director of Youth and Young Adult Ministry at St. Rose of Lima, where responsibilities include collaborating with the Pastor to develop a formation plan for parishioners and overseeing the sacramental preparation process for Middle School students. In addition, Ogechi is a Digital Content Creator for Gechmeifyoucan, focusing on lifestyle, wellness, and social justice content, as well as a Podcast Host and Creative Director for the podcast Tell Me, If You Can, which aims to inspire community change through storytelling. Ogechi also works as a Personal Trainer and Bootcamp Instructor at SOLDIERFIT and has experience as the Christian Service Coordinator at Connelly School of the Holy Child, where service-learning opportunities were managed for students. Previous roles include Coordinator at Identity, Inc., and various positions within Montgomery County Government. Ogechi holds a Bachelor of Arts in Spanish Language and Literature from the University of Pittsburgh.
