Nicholas Elsasser is a researcher and software engineer intern at Solea Energy where Nicholas conceptualized and launched an hyper-parameter optimization tool for algorithmic trading strategies. Nicholas also researched price-action signals for day-ahead energy trading. Additionally, Nicholas worked as a Teacher Assistant at the University of Colorado Boulder and as a Research and Development Intern at Baxter International Inc., where Nicholas oversaw software architecture and integration pipeline development. In addition, Nicholas worked as a Sailing Coach at Lake Forest Sailing, teaching younger sailors and coaching experienced sailors. Nicholas holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science and is pursuing a Master of Science in Computer Science at the University of Colorado Boulder.
