Matthew Murphy

Matt joined Solebury Trout in April 2021 as an Analyst on the investor relations team. He works with both public and private companies throughout all stages of development on corporate strategy and investor relations.

Prior to joining the firm, Matt worked as a Development Associate at a political fundraising firm in the Washington D.C. area. In this role he executed major donor outreach on behalf of several congressional campaigns, Super PAC’s, and non-profits during the 2020 election cycle. Before this experience, Matt interned in the Development department at a public policy think tank near Capitol Hill.

Matt graduated Magna Cum Laude from George Washington University with BA in International Affairs. During his time at GW, Matt was an active member of several political clubs and he was the head manager of the men’s basketball team. In his free time, Matt enjoys watching basketball, playing guitar, and going on walks with his dogs.
