Matt Shortsleeve

Matt Shortsleeve has extensive experience in the renewable energy industry, particularly in the solar power sector. Matt has served as the VP of Development at Solect Energy since 2014, where they are responsible for originating and executing projects for various organizations. Prior to this, they worked for RGS Energy as a Regional Director, leading a team of solar Project Development Directors. Before RGS Energy, they were a Senior Manager at Mercury Solar Systems, where they opened and managed the Massachusetts market. Matt also has experience in the clean tech industry, serving on the Advisory Board for Cleantech Incubation Services at North Shore InnoVentures. Earlier in their career, they worked in leadership roles at Staples and Kinko's, focusing on print solutions and sales. Matt has also worked at ERA Real Estate and Centerline Software in various capacities.

Matt Shortsleeve attended Northeastern University where they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Finance and Management. Matt also completed an Executive Graduate Program in Sustainability Leadership at Presidio Graduate School. Prior to their university education, Matt attended St. John's High School.
