Ken Pitts

Ken Pitts is an experienced educator in the fields of CGI, visual effects, and game art. Currently serving as Course Leader at Solent University since February 2017, Ken leads various undergraduate programs focused on CGI, visual effects, and game art. Prior to this role, Ken lectured at Bournemouth & Poole College from 2003 to January 2017, where responsibilities included serving as Programme Leader for BSc in 3D CGI Modelling and Animation. Ken also taught as an Associate Lecturer at Bournemouth University during the same period. Additionally, Ken ran Foam Studios part-time, tackling small CGI projects. Academic achievements include a Ph.D. in Computer Animation from the University of Portsmouth, an MA in Computer Animation from Bournemouth University, a PGCE from the University of Southampton, and a BEng in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Reading.
