Will Cope

Will Cope is an experienced educator and media professional currently serving as a Board Member for the European Journalism Training Association since May 2024 and as Associate Head of the Film & Media Department at Solent University since September 2007. Cope also leads the BA (Hons) Sports Journalism and MA Sports Broadcast Journalism programs, teaching various broadcasting skills. In addition to roles at Solent University, Cope serves as an External Examiner for Staffordshire University and Liverpool John Moores University, and is an Academic Board Member for the Broadcast Journalism Training Council. With a robust background in sports commentary, Cope works as a reporter and commentator for IMG, talkSPORT, Sky Sports, and provides consultancy through Livesport. Will is also the owner of Will Cope Media, specializing in voice-over work across multiple platforms. Cope holds degrees in American Studies from the University of Manchester and Rutgers University.
