Monique Couillard- Nelson

National Director Of Clinical Patient Advocacy at Soleo Health

Monique Couillard-Nelson has a diverse work experience spanning several companies and roles. Monique started their career as an Associate Chemist and Lab Technician at Paragon Vision Sciences in 1993. Monique then worked as a Triage Nurse at North Scottsdale Pediatric Associates from 1994 to 2013. In 1999, they became a Parenting Instructor at North Central Parenting Group, where they taught classes for parents with children of various ages. Monique joined BioRx as a Patient Nurse Advocate in 2009, providing clinical information, patient assessments, and education.

Starting in 2016, Monique held leadership positions. Monique first served as the Director of Nursing and Patient Advocacy for the Immunoglobulin (IG) Division at Avella Specialty Pharmacy. In this role, they developed and implemented internal and external nursing and advocacy activities for a new IG program. Later in 2016, Monique joined Superior Biologics as the Director of Patient Advocacy for the West Coast Division. Monique was responsible for creating and implementing a new patient advocacy model and serving as a liaison between the clinical and sales teams.

In 2017, Monique joined Soleo Health as the Director of Patient Advocacy and later became the National Director of Clinical Patient Advocacy. In both roles, they played a crucial role in advocating for patients and ensuring their needs were met.

Throughout their career, Monique has demonstrated expertise in patient advocacy, nursing management, and teaching.

Monique Couillard-Nelson holds a Bachelor of Applied Science (B.A.Sc.) in Biology Pre-Med from Arizona State University. Monique also obtained an Associates of Science RN degree from Scottsdale Community College, specializing in the RN program. In addition, Monique has a certification in IgCN from the Immunoglobulin National Society (IgNS), obtained in 2018.
