Benn Whistler

Benn Whistler is the Technical Services Manager at SolGold. Benn has over 20 years of experience in the mining industry, with a focus on resource management and exploration.

Whistler began their career in the mining industry in 1997, working as a consultant for Whistler Resource Management Pty Ltd. Benn worked with a variety of clients, helping them to develop and manage their resources. In 2011, they joined SolGold as a project manager, and helped to upgrade the company's systems and quality control procedures. Benn also played a key role in converting all of the company's data into 3D geological models.

In their current role as Technical Services Manager, Whistler is responsible for overseeing all of SolGold's technical operations. This includes drill programs, target generation, geological mapping, and database management. Benn is also responsible for ensuring that all of the company's data is accurate and compliant with JORC standards.

They work with Santiago Vaca - Chief Geologist, Ecuador, Ryan Wilson - Group General Counsel, and Jason Ward - Head, Exploration. Benn Whistler reports to Darryl Cuzzubbo, Managing Director & CEO.
