Selina Ullah

Selina Ullah is a Board Member at the Solicitors Regulation Authority. Selina has previously worked as an Accent Group Ltd, Locala Community Partnerships CIC, Solicitors Regulation Authority, Bradford Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust, Muslim Women's Council, and General Optical Council.

Ms. Ullah has been a Deputy Chair and Senior Independent Director at Bradford Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust since September 2015. In this role, they chair the Workforce Committee and is the Trust Wellbeing Lead and Maternity Safety Champion.

From September 2011 to August 2019, Ms. Uullah was a Non-Executive Director at the General Optical Council where they chaired the Education Committee from 2016 to 2019. In this role, they were responsible for the accreditation, quality assurance of optical education, approval of new courses and development of guidance and policy concerning optical education in the UK. Additionally, Ms. Uullah led the Standards Review which resulted in the development of new Standards of Practice for 27000 UK optical registrants and students.

Selina Ullah has a background in business administration and management, with a focus on social enterprise and sustainability from Cambridge Judge Business School. Selina also has a Diploma in Management Studies from the Open University and a Post Graduate Diploma in Health and Social Care from the University of Bradford.
