Dr. Widler Casy has a strong background in bioanalytical assay development and tissue processing. Widler currently works as a Scientist III at Solid Biosciences, where they are responsible for developing and optimizing bioanalytical assays for protein detection and quantifying vector DNA and RNA. Widler also leads the establishment and implementation of a comprehensive infrastructure for tissue processing. Prior to their current role, Dr. Casy worked as a Scientist III at AavantiBio, Inc., where they focused on gene therapy research and development. Widler has also held positions as a Postdoctoral Researcher at The University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center at Dallas, a Research Assistant at the University of Missouri, and a Research Assistant/Technician at Lindenwood University. Undeterred by this accomplishment, Widler went on to pursue further education and enrolled at the University of Missouri-Columbia in the same year. At the University of Missouri-Columbia, they focused their studies on Biochemistry and ultimately earned their Doctor of Philosophy degree in 2017.
