Jenny Best

Jenny Best is a seasoned professional with a diverse background in communications, leadership, and arts. As the Founder of Solid Starts since January 2021, Jenny has been at the forefront of initiating impactful programs. Previously, Jenny served as the Global Communications Director at One Acre Fund from 2014 to 2017 and held the position of Director of External Affairs at Slow Food USA from 2011 to 2013. Jenny's early career includes significant roles as Chief of Staff for the City of New York's Department of Buildings and in the Office of the Mayor of New York City. Additionally, Jenny was part of the New York City Ballet as a Corps de Ballet member from 1996 to 2001. Jenny Best holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Politics from New York University, complemented by studies at the International Center of Photography.
