Matteo Fioravanti

Matteo Fioravanti is a Senior Hardware Engineer at Solid State Logic since March 2016, specializing in the design of various audio electronics, including the SSL Puredrive QUAD/OCTO, and contributing to firmware development. Fioravanti has progressed through roles including Hardware Engineer and Junior Hardware Engineer, where key innovations included the redesign of a classic Bus Compressor, enhancement of SSL Origin consoles, and the development of high-performance audio interfaces. Prior experience includes freelance sound engineering, running an electronics laboratory for audio equipment modifications, and internships focusing on firmware development and hardware validation. Matteo holds a Laurea Magistrale in Ingegneria Elettronica from Università degli Studi di Genova and additional qualifications from the University of Malta.
