Maxime Julien

Maxime Julien has a diverse work experience spanning various industries and roles. Maxime is currently the CEO and Founder of Solid State of Mind, where they focus on building an Artificial Intelligence system capable of thriving in real-world environments. Prior to this, Maxime worked as an Associate at Verity Audio, where they gained valuable experience in the audio industry. Maxime also has extensive experience in consulting, working as an Executive in high-tech and fast growth environments, providing guidance and support to CEOs and Founders.

Maxime also served as an Entrepreneur in Residence at Centech Mtl, where they contributed their expertise in developing and nurturing start-ups. Maxime has held leadership positions in several companies, including OMsignal, where they served as COO and CFO, and Sky Motion Research, where they were the Co-Founder, President, and CEO. Maxime successfully transformed Sky Motion Research into a commercially successful product and sold the company to AccuWeather.

Additionally, Maxime has held senior positions at Mobivox, Electronic Arts, Ubisoft, and CAE, where they focused on R&D, operations, product management, and program management. Maxime'sexperience in these roles allowed him to develop and manage successful products and teams.

Maxime Julien obtained a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from Université Laval, where they studied from 1985 to 1989. Later on, they pursued a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree with a specialization in Finance at HEC Montréal, completing their studies from 1996 to 1997.
