Willie Puz

Willie Puz has extensive experience in public affairs and communications, currently serving as the Legislative and Public Affairs Manager at the Solid Waste Authority of Palm Beach County since October 2013. Previous roles include Director of Public Affairs and Recycling at the same authority, Division Director of Public Information Services, Public Information Manager, and Community Relations Coordinator at Hillsborough County from January 2007 to October 2013. Willie has also held positions as Media Relations Director and Public Information Coordinator at the Florida Fish & Wildlife Conservation Commission, Public Relations Manager at the Florida Department of Environmental Protection, Sports Producer at NBC 6-WTVJ, Environmental Program Supervisor at Palm Beach County Environmental Resources Management, and Public Information Specialist at the Florida Department of Environmental Protection. Education includes a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree from Eckerd College and completion of the Leadership Palm Beach County program, Class of 2017.
