Sravan Kumar Kota

Sravan Kumar Kota is a Programme Manager for MSME (Textiles) at Solidaridad Network since April 2023. Previously, Sravan served as a Research Officer at the National Mission for Clean Ganga from September 2014 to April 2023, where responsibilities included concept preparation, tendering, and project evaluation for Common Effluent Treatment Plants, as well as conducting inspections and submitting reports to higher authorities. Prior experience includes working as an Environmental Engineer at the Hyderabad Metropolitan Development Authority, focusing on bid evaluation and the operational management of sewage treatment infrastructure, and as a Research Associate at the Indian Institute of Technology, Roorkee, where extensive assessments of hydro power projects were conducted. Sravan holds a Doctor of Philosophy in Water Quality Modelling and a Master’s Degree in Environmental Management of Rivers and Lakes from the Indian Institute of Technology, Roorkee, as well as a Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering from Koneru Lakshmaiah College of Engineering.
