Nadia Yael Mahgerefteh has a diverse work experience that spans various companies and roles. In 2013, they had a work experience week at IBM and also participated in monthly mentoring sessions with a senior information developer at the company. These experiences provided their with an understanding of IBM's software and operations, as well as insights into different roles and work areas within the company. In 2015, they collaborated with a Professor of Chemical Engineering at University College London (UCL) to construct a website for the PipeTech software, which is used by major oil and gas companies for pipeline safety assessment. In 2016, they led a team at Microsoft in developing a cross-platform mobile application designed for the visually impaired, using Bing Maps API and the Cordova Speech Recognition Plugin.
