Alexey Chistyakov

Alexey Chistyakov is a seasoned Senior Process Engineer in the Mineral Processing Department at Polymetal International plc, with a career spanning from June 2011 to the present, focusing on research work, plant surveying, data analysis, material balance calculations, and circuit modeling. Prior to this role, Alexey served as an Assistant Professor in the Chemistry Department at the National Mineral Resources University from 2009 to June 2011, where responsibilities included conducting seminars, performing metallurgical tests, and supervising student research. Alexey’s engineering experience also includes a position as an Engineer at JSC "NPO "Pribor" from 2007 to 2008, engaged in chemical testing and the development of semiconductor gas sensors. Academic credentials include a PhD in Metallurgy from the National Mineral Resources University, completed in 2009, as well as an MSc in Metallurgy from the same institution attained in 2007. Additional studies were conducted at TU Bergakademie Freiberg in 2008-2009.
