Fredrik Larsen has a diverse work experience spanning several industries. Fredrik started their career as a Change Manager and Consultant at Fjellinjen AS, where they were responsible for updating the road toll collection system and managing the IT department. Fredrik then worked as a Solution Manager at Netlight AS, overseeing project management, business analysis, system development, and change management.

Fredrik later joined Hafslund as a Project and Product Manager, leading the implementation of Elhub, a data sharing and interoperability system for the electricity sector in Norway. Fredrik also worked as a Project Manager and Product Owner at Fortum, where they developed a new system for electricity sales.

In 2014, Fredrik co-founded Solidsquare AS, a consulting firm, and served as the Co-Founder and Chairman. In this role, they focused on project management, business analysis, change management, and strategic advisory services. Fredrik also briefly took on the role of Chief Operating Officer, handling day-to-day business operations.

Fredrik has also been involved in various roles at SpareBank 1 Utvikling, where they served as a Team Leader for API management and open banking, a Team Leader for the Identification and authentication platform, and an Area Lead for Data Warehouse teams.

Additionally, Fredrik worked as a Product Manager at Iriz AS, overseeing the development of a mobile application for corporate canteen purchases, and as a Data Platform Team Lead at SpareBank 1 Utvikling, responsible for leading the establishment of a data platform team.

Currently, Fredrik holds the position of Data Product Owner at Kelsey-Seybold Clinic, where they utilize their expertise in data management and product ownership.

Fredrik Larsen pursued their education in the field of Computer Science. From 2000 to 2005, they attended the Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU) and earned a master's degree in Computer Science. In 2003, they briefly enrolled at The University of Western Australia, focusing on Computer Science.

In addition to their formal education, Fredrik Larsen obtained several certifications. In March 2023, they completed the "Scientific Computing with Python" certification from freeCodeCamp. Subsequently, in April 2023, they acquired the "AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner" certification from Amazon Web Services (AWS). Much earlier, in January 2012, they received the "Project Management Professional" certification from the Project Management Institute.
