Darren Jakeways

Darren Jakeways is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in commissioning and performance management. Currently serving as a Senior Commissioning Officer and Category Manager at Solihull Metropolitan Borough Council since February 2011, Darren specializes in securing placements for vulnerable children and young people while ensuring best value for money. Previously, as a Programme Manager with the West Midlands Children's Services Programme Team (July 2017 - January 2021), Darren focused on project management and partner performance development.
