Simon Allcock

Simon Allcock is an experienced network professional with over two decades of expertise in network management and engineering. Currently serving as a Network Manager and Senior Network Consultant at Solihull Metropolitan Borough Council since November 2002, Simon specializes in designing, configuring, and troubleshooting Local Area Networks while also maintaining and monitoring network performance using Solarwinds and RidegeLine. Prior to this role, Simon worked as a Senior Network Engineer at the University of Wolverhampton from January 1992 to November 2002, where responsibilities included server maintenance for critical services such as DHCP, DNS, Active Directory, and Exchange Server, as well as the installation of network hardware and the creation of PC images for CAD design software.
