Tom Slater

Tom Slater is an experienced communications professional with a career spanning over three decades. Currently serving as the Communications Manager at Solihull Council since July 2022, and previously holding various roles within Solihull MBC, including Communications Officer and Principal Communications Officer, Tom has demonstrated expertise in media relations, event communications, and stakeholder advisory. Prior roles include News and Media Relations Officer at Action for Children, Schools Project Director at Blue Chilli Marketing Ltd, and Communications Executive at Advantage West Midlands. Tom began their career at Dudley Council, contributing significantly to corporate media relations and reputation management.
