David Smith

David Smith has over 20 years of experience in the security systems industry. David began their career in 1987 as a Sergeant in the US Army, where they repaired and maintained two-way communications equipment designed for military applications. In 1993, they joined Sensormatic as a Technical Support Specialist, where they assisted 35-40 technicians in the support of EAS and CCTV equipment in the retail market. In 2001, they moved to ADT as an Integrated Systems Specialist, where they supported up to 25 Retail National Acct Sales Executives in the sale of IP/Analog CCTV and EAS equipment. In 2008, they joined Intelligent Marketing, Incorporated. (IMI) as a Sales Engineer/Technical Sales, where they managed a territory that included over 50 independent/national integrators, consultants, and distributors. In 2014, they returned to Sensormatic as a Sales Engineer/Integrated Systems Manager, where they were responsible for expanding National business in the Banking and Retail vertical markets. In 2021, they joined Solink as a Sales Engineer.
