Gregory Bowness

Gregory Bowness has held a variety of roles in the past 14 years. From 2007 to 2012, they worked as a Cashier at Metro Inc. and as a Security Officer at both Canada's Wonderland and G4S. Gregory then worked as a Sales Specialist and Product Process Specialist at Best Buy Canada from 2014 to 2015. From 2015 to 2017, they worked as a Field Technician and Computer Technician at Geek Squad. Most recently, since 2017, they have been a Field Technology Analyst at York Region District School Board, and since 2021 they have been a Project Coordinator - Data Implementations at Solink.

Gregory Bowness completed a Bachelor's Degree in Sociology at York University from 2012 to 2016. Prior to that, they obtained a Diploma in Police Foundations from Niagara College from 2010 to 2012. In addition, they hold certifications in ITIL Foundation Level (AXELOS Global Best Practice, 2019), Certified Associate in Project Management (Project Management Institute, 2019), COMPTIA A+ Certificate (CompTIA, 2017), Working at Heights (SAFETECH, 2017), Possession Acquisition License (Firearms Act, Statutes of Canada, 2013), A.E.D. Provider (Perri-Med, 2014), Basic Life Support - C (Perri-Med, 2014), Emergency First Aid (Perri-Med, 2014), Security License (Private Security and Investigative Services, 2012), Nonviolent Crisis Intervention (CPI, 2014), Fall Protection (YOW Canada, 2013), and Smart Serve (Smart Serve Ontario).
