Romain GUYOT de la HARDROUYERE

Romain GUYOT de la HARDROUYERE began their professional career in 2011 as an Assistant TP Caml et C# at Epita. In 2012, they interned at SQL Data Consulting as a Stagiaire Développement Web. Romain then became an Autoentrepreneur in 2013, working with Guillaume Ergand on various web projects and developing an iphone/android application for the company EPL Paris Avantages. In 2014, they became a Full Stack Developer and Junior Data Scientist at Benbria, focusing on the applications of Natural Language Processing and Machine Learning for the Loop application. Romain then used data science frameworks around the python ecosystem (scipy stack, scikit-learn) and developed web interfaces (tornado, mongodb) to let customers take advantage of these powerful tools. Romain also sharpened their SQL skills and gained proficiency in the NodeJS tech stack to provide efficient reporting over large datasets. In 2019, they joined Solink as an Artificial Intelligence Engineer, participating in the enhancement of the Solink Video Surveillance platform using machine learning techniques, under the constraints of low-power, edge device computing. Romain also took on tasks such as integration of optimized computer vision models to perform frame analysis and led standardization of data schema to enable further data analysis and fraud detection.

Romain GUYOT de la HARDROUYERE obtained a Bachelor's degree from Gymnase Jean Sturm in 2009 after studying Sciences from 2006 to 2009. Romain then pursued a Master's degree in Computer Sciences from EPITA: Ecole d'Ingénieurs en Informatique from 2009 to 2014. In 2011, they also spent some time at Stellenbosch University.
