Tayron Perez

Tayron Perez, a Cuban-born executive, joined Solis Health Plans with over 12 years of experience within IT and system development in healthcare using lean start-up and agile methodologies from technology and infrastructure to the end user support adding value to the organization with each iteration utilizing strategic thinking, competence and business partnering capabilities to facilitate positive change and ensure on-target project delivery.

An engineer at heart, with a Computer Engineering degree from Florida International University, Tayron has leveraged modern software development frameworks to successfully maximized returns on investments in all companies he has been associated with in Healthcare. Mr. Perez in a short period of time has built multiple unique and efficient enterprise solutions for Solis Health that are proving to be a positive experience for both the Member and Provider communities.

Prior to joining Solis Health Plans, Mr. Perez was the Vice President of Information Technology for Beacon Health Options a Managed Care Organization with over 5 thousand employees servicing Medicare, Medicaid, Commercial, and Exchange lines of business for over 40 million members across all 50 states. Within this role, Mr. Perez strategically developed and integrated multiple external and internal systems allowing for a rapid growth and exponential business growth during his tenure. He was responsible for implementing and maintaining all transactional inbound and outbound exchanges – as well as any Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) feeds for over 250 healthcare clients across the nation.
