Andy Samms possesses a diverse background in language education and grounds management, currently serving as the Spanish Language Educator at Solitude Mountain Resort since December 2021, where a program for Spanish instruction was developed to enhance communication among front of house staff. Andy also pioneered the English Language Educator role for back of house staff, collaborating with senior leadership to implement effective training. Prior experience includes leading a multilingual team as the Lead Groundskeeper at Solitude Ski Resort and providing customer assistance at Glover Nursery while offering Spanish translation services. An accomplished writer and former sales assistant, Andy holds a Bachelor's degree in Journalism from the University of Washington and has completed language training at International House London and Centro de idiomas de la Universidad de León.
