Amber Deering MA, ATR, LPC is a licensed professional counselor and art therapist with extensive experience in various therapeutic settings. Amber has been providing therapeutic support to children and adults at the Counseling Center of West Michigan and Sollars and Associates since 2019. Additionally, Amber supports adults with Epilepsy through monthly groups at Mercy Health and has previously worked as an art therapist at Avalon Behavioral Health and The Epilepsy Foundation. With a background in art therapy that spans over a decade, including positions at Western Michigan University's Center for Disability Services and Allegiance Health, Amber focuses on enhancing mental health and wellness through creative expression. Amber holds a Master's degree in Transpersonal Counseling and Art Therapy from Naropa University and a Bachelor's degree in Psychology from Western Michigan University.
