Normand Lapointe

Representing sector 4, Normand Lapointe is a dairy producer in Saguenay (Jonquière sector). Mr. Lapointe is the owner, with his son, of Ferme Saguenayenne. This is the 4th generation to be installed on this land which has 150 heads, for 80 kg / day of quota, and 490 acres in cereal and hay crops. The company holds the title of best herd production average in Canada, in the Ayrshire breed, for the years 2017, 2018 and 2019.

Normand Lapointe has served on the board of directors of Nutrinor cooperative since February 2017 and has been a member of the executive committee since 2019. In the past, he was president of the Coopérative agricole de Jonquière for six years. He is also involved with the Expo agricole de Chicoutimi.
