Jim Hamakiotis is an accomplished operational leader with extensive experience in the aerospace industry. Currently serving as the Chief Operating Officer at Solmax since September 2025, Jim previously held the position of Vice President Transformation at RTX and spent 20 years at Pratt & Whitney in various senior roles, including Vice President Supply Chain Management, where responsibility encompassed over $1.2 billion in annual procurement and logistics. With a strong focus on global partnerships, digital innovation, and supply chain strategy, Jim has significantly contributed to productivity improvements and infrastructure integrations in aerospace. Additionally, Jim serves as Chairman of the Board for two aerospace companies, SPWAEC and Chengdu Aerotek. Jim holds an MBA in Strategic Management and a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from McGill University.
