Diego Grumbach graduated from ENSTBB Engineering School with a Master’s degree in Biotechnology and is currently a biotechnology engineer at Solmeyea, focusing on microalgae farming and CO2 bio-fixation. They co-founded Solmeyea in 2021 and previously held research positions at the Centre de recherche du CHU Sainte-Justine and The Novo Nordisk Foundation Center for Biosustainability, where they worked on immunotherapy and production optimization, respectively. Additionally, they undertook a role as an operator trainee at Brasserie Mascaret in 2019. Prior to their engineering degree, Diego studied Biology at Université de Montréal.
