Efi Sarri

Efi Sarri is a Senior Upstream R&D Scientist, Strain Selection Lead, and Lab Manager at Solmeyea, where they also serve as an Associate Scientist through the EIT Food-RIS Talents Fellowship. Previously, Efi worked as a Research Assistant at both the Agricultural University of Athens and the Benaki Phytopathological Institute. Efi's academic background includes a PhD in Agricultural and Horticultural Plant Breeding, as well as a Master's and Bachelor's degree in Crop Production from the Agricultural University of Athens. Additionally, they have experience as an Agriculturist at AROTRO-Plant Nursery and the Antonis Tritsis Environmental Education and Sensitization Park.
