Jacob Edwards

Jacob Edwards has six years of professional experience in the IT field. Jacob began their career in 2017 as a Desktop Support Specialist for Complete Professional Services, LLC. (CPS). In 2018, they moved to VETS Federal, Inc (Veteran Enterprise Tech Solutions, Inc) as a Windows/VMWare System Administrator. In 2019, they worked for both Boeing and ECS as a Windows/VMWare Lab Administrator and Cloud Engineer/Administrator, respectively. In 2021, they took on the role of Site Reliability Engineer at Prognos Health. Most recently, they are a Cloud and IT Systems Engineer at solo.io.

Jacob Edwards is currently enrolled in a Bachelor of Science in Cybersecurity and Information Assurance program at Western Governors University, which they began in 2021 and is expected to complete in 2024. Jacob has also obtained several certifications, including an edX Verified Certificate for Introduction to Kubernetes in March 2022, an ITIL® Foundation Certificate in IT Service Management from PeopleCert in February 2021, CompTIA A+ in July 2022, CompTIA Security+ in November 2017, an Amazon Web Services Cloud Practitioner in November 2019, and an Amazon Web Services Solutions Architect Associate in February 2020.
