Favio Velarde has a diverse work experience that spans across various industries. In 2018, they founded 'Made in 98,' a record label focused on providing artists with management and marketing support. In this role, they were responsible for data analysis, targeted marketing strategies, and overseeing content creation for the label's artists.
Favio has also worked as a composer and audio artist at UPC, where they produced instrumentals and jingles for institutional and marketing videos. Additionally, they have gained experience as a digital marketing specialist at Sherwa, a video editor and social media copywriter at BBK Network, and a public relations intern at Sonia Ramos.
More recently, Favio has held the position of Head of Growth at Sologenic, where they currently work, and will be transitioning to the role of Head of Growth at Coreum in 2023. These roles highlight their expertise in driving growth and implementing effective marketing strategies.
Favio Velarde obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Music from the Universidad Peruana de Ciencias Aplicadas in 2021. In the same year, they also received a Diploma of Education in Digital Marketing from CICCC - Cornerstone International Community College of Canada. Prior to that, Favio completed a Credit Transfer program in Recording Arts at LaSalle College Vancouver from 2019 to 2020. Favio holds a High School Diploma from De la Inmaculada, which they received in 2015. Additionally, Favio has obtained various certifications including Google Analytics Qualification, Google Ads Certification, SEO Fundamentals from Semrush, Email Marketing, and Content Marketing from HubSpot Academy, all obtained in 2021.
