Shira Arzt

Shira Arzt is an experienced educator and freelance photographer with a focus on early childhood education. Currently serving as a Teacher Assistant at Temple Bnai Jeshurun since November 2023, and as a Kindergarten Teacher at Solomon Schechter Day School of Bergen County, NJ since August 2022, Shira has developed a strong foundation in teaching and supporting young learners. Previous roles include Kindergarten Teacher Assistant at Rabbi Barry H. Greene Early Childhood Center and various leadership positions within the United Synagogue Youth chapter, where event planning and community engagement were key responsibilities. Shira fortified practical skills through internships, administrative roles, and teaching gymnastics, while also contributing creatively as a freelance photographer and graphic design marketing intern. Educational credentials include a Master of Education from Saint Peter's University, with additional studies at Ithaca College.
