Joe Perez ("Dr. Joe")

Dr. Joe has a long and varied work experience. Joe began their career in 1986 as an Instructor and Public Relations Director at Friendship Christian School. In 1992, they became a Business Intelligence Specialist at NC State Graduate School. From 2017 to 2020, they were a Senior Systems Analyst and Team Lead at the NC Department of Health and Human Services, formerly via contract with NTT Data and then as a direct hire. Currently, they are the Chief Technology Officer (fractional) at SolonTek Corporation. Throughout their career, they have been responsible for providing technical system and process analysis, application improvement and implementation, process modeling and enhancement, complex program analysis, application assessment, and performance monitoring. Joe has also served as a business/technical liaison and provided business intelligence report and production infrastructure SQL programming support.

Dr. Joe Perez has a Doctor of Theology from Freedom University, where they studied Education/Administration with a minor in computer science. Joe also has a Master's Degree in Education/Administration from Freedom Seminary, with a minor in Computer/Bible. Joe's Bachelor's Degree is in Secondary Education and Teaching from Tennessee Temple University.
