Karin Hattingh is an accomplished financial executive with extensive experience in various leadership roles. Currently serving as CFO at Solotel since June 2019, Karin has also held CFO positions at Hotsprings and Gloria Jean’s Coffees International. Previously, Karin was CEO of Wendys Supa Sundaes and held the role of Chief Financial Officer at SunDoctors Skin Cancer Clinics. Early career roles included Financial Controller at Barbeques Galore Pty Ltd and Manager of Planning and Analysis at BIG W. Karin's academic credentials include a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting and Finance from the University of Pretoria, and a Certificate in the Theory of Accounting from Rand Afrikaans University, complemented by a tenure as a Senior Lecturer at the University of Pretoria.

Our family has been in pubs since 1910. In 1930, we bought the pub in Darlinghurst and we continue to evolve with our communities. Founded in 1986, Solotel has been an integral backdrop for great food, beverage, entertainment, music, and positive energy. We provide our customers the greatest diversity of experience, with 26 venues strong and growing in Sydney and Brisbane. Because we believe in the importance of hospitality in society.
