Joe Schaeppi

Joe Schaeppi first had a role as an Athlete / Ambassador for The North Face from August 2014 to June 2018. Joe then became the Sr Manager of User Experience at Big Fish Games from May 2016 to January 2018. Joe also worked as a Psychotherapist at Steinmann Health LLC from August 2014 to April 2016, and as a User Experience Lead at Contravent from March 2015 to March 2016. Prior to that, they were the User Experience Director at MRM from June 2014 to December 2014. Joe also worked as a UX / Human Factors Engineer at HES-SO Haute école spécialisée de Suisse occidentale from November 2010 to April 2012. Joe Schaeppi co-founded EPICSTOKE in May 2010. Joe is currently the CEO and Co-Founder of Solsten, a company they started in January 2018. Additionally, Joe Schaeppi was an Athlete / Ambassador for Hart Ski Corporation from November 2009 to April 2010.

Joe Schaeppi has a Bachelor of Science degree in Human Factors Psychology & Anthropology from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. Joe also holds a Master of Science in Clinical Psychology with a specialization in Adventure Based Psychotherapy from Prescott College. Additionally, Joe has studied Entrepreneurial Management & Cultural Communication at Webster University Geneva. In terms of certifications, they have completed the course "Design Thinking for Innovation" at the University of Virginia Darden School of Business in November 2015. Moreover, Joe is a Wilderness First Responder certified by the NOLS Wilderness Medicine Institute (WMI) since January 2016.
