Sebastian Brent Weyer has a diverse work experience spanning various industries and roles. Sebastian Brent is currently serving as the Chief of Staff at Solsten, a company that focuses on advancing the human experience through the use of technology. Prior to this, they held the position of Head of Corporate Development at the same company.
Sebastian also worked at KI Bundesverband e.V., where they were a member of the working group "Data Privacy" from 2018 to 2021. Sebastian Brent co-founded Statice, a company that helps businesses share private customer data in a privacy-preserving manner, where they served as the CEO from 2018 to 2021.
Before their entrepreneurial ventures, Sebastian worked as a Course Co-Creator for Personal Professional Development at the Rotterdam School of Management, Erasmus University, from 2016 to 2018. Sebastian Brent also served as a Venture Development Manager at WATTx, a company builder focusing on deep technology, from 2015 to 2017. Additionally, Sebastian founded and served as the CEO of Another Generic Brand, a fashion brand that sold headwear from 2014 to 2016.
Early in their career, Sebastian gained experience as a Business Development Intern at Jumpstarter, a company that developed disruptive hosting technology, and as a Production Intern at Storyhouse Productions and Flughafen München GmbH.
Sebastian Brent Weyer began their education in 2004 at Evangelisches Gymnasium Hermannswerder, where they studied Mathematics and English, ultimately earning their Deutsches Abitur in 2011. Sebastian Brent then went on to pursue a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) in International Business Administration at the Rotterdam School of Management, Erasmus University, from 2011 to 2014. Following their undergraduate studies, Sebastian continued their education at the same institution, obtaining a Master of Science (M.Sc.) in Marketing Management from 2014 to 2015.
In addition to their formal education, Sebastian has also obtained various certifications to supplement their knowledge and skills. Sebastian Brent completed the "FinTech and the Transformation in Financial Services" course at Coursera in December 2017, as well as the "Financial Modeling in Excel for Startups" course at Udemy in July 2017. Prior to that, they obtained certifications in courses such as "Modeling Risk and Realities," "Private Equity and Venture Capital," "Python Data Structures," "Programming for Everybody (Getting Started with Python)," "Innovating in a Digital World," and "Introduction to Software Product Management" from various institutions such as Coursera and Coursera Course Certificates, between 2015 and 2016.
