Tomas Diaz is a seasoned engineer with extensive experience in embedded systems and firmware development. Currently serving as a Senior Embedded Engineer at Garnet Instruments Ltd. since August 2019, Tomas has also consulted for Soltare in QNX software development since October 2018. Previous roles include Senior Software Engineer at Tevosol, Inc., focusing on Ex-Vivo Organ Support System architecture and ARM firmware, and Senior Embedded Engineer at Diesel Tech Industries, where Tomas led a team in developing system specifications. Additional experience encompasses firmware development for ARM targets at Pentair Thermal Management, maintenance engineering at Vallourec and National Oilwell Varco, and automation engineering for the oil industry. Tomas holds a Bachelor of Science in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Instituto Tecnologico de Veracruz and a Computer Technician diploma from Centro de Computacion Profesional del Golfo.
