Pilar Riaño has a diverse work experience in the field of procurement and sourcing. Pilar started their career at Monroe España as a Senior Buyer before moving on to Eaton, where they served as the Global Head of Turn Parts Commodity and Purchasing Manager. At Eaton, they developed and structured the Purchasing Department, negotiated purchase agreements, implemented a new delivery system, and provided support to the Toyota Production System and Marketing Department.

After their time at Eaton, Pilar joined Newell as a Purchasing Manager for South Europe. In this role, they outsourced window line products from Europe to Asia, implemented synergies, and reduced stock levels through the implementation of the Ship to Stock system.

Pilar then worked at Gamesa Solar as the Asset & Sourcing Manager and later as the Purchasing Director. In these roles, they managed the quality and sustainability of the company's PV assets, executed new government law requirements, defined an overall strategy for asset management, and led negotiations to foster long-term partnerships.

Following their time at Gamesa Solar, Pilar joined Sunpower Energy Systems as the Project Procurement Manager for Utility & Commercial projects. Pilar was responsible for managing project-specific goods and services procurement, from handover from sales to the completion of contractual obligations. This included market screening, qualification of subcontractors and suppliers, tender and bid preparation, and contract negotiation and execution.

Currently, Pilar is working at Powertis as the Sourcing and Technology Director. Further information about their roles and responsibilities in this position is not provided.
