Carolina Polo Torcal

Carolina Polo Torcal is a seasoned professional in project management and clinical trials, currently serving as a Project Manager at SOLTI since January 2022. With extensive experience at the Bellvitge Biomedical Research Institute - IDIBELL from October 2006 to February 2022, Carolina held roles including Clinical Trials Project Manager and Clinical Trials Study Coordinator in the Nephrology Department and Renal Transplant Unit. Prior to that, Carolina worked as a Postdoctoral Researcher at Fundació Sant Joan de Déu and as a Data Manager and Pre-doctoral Researcher at IDIBELL, focusing on various aspects of clinical trials and medical microbiology. Carolina holds a PhD in Medical Microbiology and Bacteriology from Universitat de Barcelona and has pursued multiple specialized trainings in project management and communication.
