Helena Masanas Plazas

Helena Masanas Plazas is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in communication, events management, and scientific research. Currently serving as the Chief Communication & Events Officer at SOLTI since June 2015, Helena leads the execution of the Communication Plan while overseeing press and media relations, medical education, and patient affairs. Previous roles at SOLTI include Communication & Events Manager, Scientific Communication Specialist, and Scientific Communication Trainee, where Helena contributed to the organization of scientific events and the dissemination of scientific accomplishments. Prior to joining SOLTI, Helena conducted research in Neuroscience as a PhD student at the Institute for Bioengineering of Catalonia from October 2010 to January 2015. Helena holds multiple degrees, including an Associate's degree in Business from Esade, a Master's in Clinical/Medical Laboratory Science from Centro de Estudios Colegiales del Colegio de Médicos de Barcelona, a Master’s in Technical and Scientific Communication from UPF Barcelona School of Management, and a Master's in Neuroscience from the Universitat de Barcelona.
