Gayan Nadeesha serves as the Lead Electrical Design Engineer at Northvolt, overseeing technical project management for critical systems in the Formation and Aging Building 3 and Down Stream Building 4. Previously, Gayan held the position of Electrical Design Engineer and Site Manager at Soltia AB, contributing to the Northvolt Ett project. With extensive experience as the Head of Engineering at Green Tech Engineering Consultants, Gayan managed electrical, ELV, lightning protection, and lighting systems for major infrastructure projects, including the Waterfront Integrated Resort Development Project. Gayan's earlier roles included positions with Resources Development Consultants, Oriental Consultants, Eagle Power, and Camso, where skills in electrical design and project management were honed. Education includes a Master’s in Renewable Electricity Production from Uppsala University, various engineering certifications, and a Bachelor of Science in Engineering specialized in Electrical Engineering from the University of Moratuwa.
