Knut Vågnes Eriksen's work experience begins in 2011 as a Football Coach at ULLERN IF FOTBALL, where they managed and organized practices and matches. From 2016 to 2017, they served their mandatory service in the Norwegian Armed Forces as a Seaman Apprentice. In 2018, they worked as a Tent Builder at Rent A Tent Partyservice, setting up party tents and assisting with event preparations. In the same year, they also served as a Learning Assistant at the Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU). In 2019, Knut participated in the Autonomous Jetski project CoastalShark as a Summer Intern at KONGSBERG, working on integrating LiDAR and RADAR technologies. Later in 2019, they joined Accenture's Discovery Program, participating in various courses and seminars. In 2020, Knut worked as a Summer Intern at NORSAR, renewing the organization's internal alert system and contributing to the development of a flow management system. Knut also served as a Student Representative at Norges teknisk-naturvitenskapelige universitet (NTNU) during the same year. In 2021, Knut worked as a Summer Intern at Appear, where they collaborated with a team to create an API-driven web application. Currently, they hold a position as a Software Engineer at Solution Seeker starting from 2022.

Knut Vågnes Eriksen pursued their education at the Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU) from 2017 to 2022, where they earned a Master of Science (MS) degree in Cybernetics and Robotics. In 2022, they also participated in an exchange program at the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro. Additionally, in 2021, they took part in the Erasmus/Exchange program at the Universitat Politècnica de València (UPV).
