Mae Espejo began their career in 1997 as an Editorial Artist at The Fresno Bee. One year later, in 1998, they moved to Solutions By Design, Inc. where they served as an Art Director.

Mae Espejo holds a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Fine and Studio Arts from California State University, Fresno.
