Chris Buchleiter has worked in the IT industry since 1992. Chris began their career as a Help Desk Operator at Evolution Computing in 1992. In 1995, they moved to Informative Graphics as a Systems Admin, where they administered servers and workstations running a wide variety of operating systems. In 1997, they joined Barrow Neurological Group/Neurosource as a Sr. System Administrator, where they supported Windows NT, Novell, AIX and Linux Servers, as well as Windows workstations. In 2001, they began working at Silix Corp/IBM/Honeywell as a Sr. AIX Administrator, where they deployed and maintained AIX, HPUX, Solaris and Linux systems. In 2006, they moved to PetSmart as a Unix Administrator III, where they deployed and maintained AIX and RedHat in standalone and virtual environments. In 2011, they joined The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints as a Sr. Systems Engineer, where they planned, maintained and upgraded AIX computing environment. Finally, in 2013, they began working at Solutions-II as a Solutions Engineer, where they were primarily responsible for clients in law enforcement and the private sector. Chris later assumed the role of Lead Solutions Engineer, where they expanded their role to include Linux and Windows OS and VMWare virtualization technologies, and worked extensively with management and project management teams to develop internal standards and processes.

Chris Buchleiter attended The University of New Mexico from 1988 to 1991, studying Computer Science. Chris then attended the University of Phoenix from 1998 to 2001, earning a Bachelor's degree in Business Information Systems. In 2020, Chris obtained two certifications from LogicMonitor: a LogicMonitor Certified Professional in June and a LogicMonitor Certified Associate in April.
