Knut Vespestad

Knut Vespestad is an experienced maritime professional currently serving as the Vetting Manager CSO/DPA-Sr. Maritime Superintendent at Solvang ASA since August 2011, overseeing the Maritime Vetting department and ensuring vessel compliance with oil majors and screening societies. Prior roles include Maritime Superintendent and Master Mariner, where responsibilities included commanding a Liquified Petroleum Gas Carrier. Vespestad has also contributed to academia as a Lecturer at Western Norway University of Applied Sciences, teaching maritime subjects and operating a ship navigational simulator. Additional experience spans roles such as Operations Manager at Hagland, ship agent at SGS, surveyor at Solvang ASA, and various officer positions at BW Gas AS and Knutsen OAS Shipping AS.
