Steinar Johnsen is a seasoned technical superintendent with extensive experience in the maritime industry, currently serving at Solvang ASA since August 2018. Prior to this role, Steinar held positions at COLUMBIA Cruise Services, Carnival Maritime GmbH, Dolphin Drilling Ltd, Sea Launch, Holland America Line, and Royal Caribbean Cruises Ltd, specializing in the technical management, maintenance, and repairs of various vessels, including cruise ships and drilling rigs. Steinar has a strong background in ensuring compliance with safety and quality regulations, managing budgets, and overseeing routine surveys and inspections. Educational qualifications include multiple degrees in engineering from Tromsoe Maritime Skole and Alta Vidergaaende Skole, complemented by early experience as a ships mechanic and oiler.
