Sophie de Bigault de Cazanove

Sophie de Bigault de Cazanove has extensive experience in quality, health, safety, and environmental management within the chemical and pharmaceutical industries. Since October 2016, Sophie has held the position of Responsable QHSE at Solvay, where responsibilities include defining and implementing HSE and Quality policies for the Silica Collonges plant, managing a diverse team, and serving as a member of the site’s executive committee. Prior roles at Solvay include leading quality initiatives and oversight of product quality in manufacturing processes. Earlier experience includes positions at Chimex - L'Oréal, focusing on quality control and process engineering within fine chemicals and cosmetic actives, along with internships that enhanced expertise in production optimization and analytical processes. Sophie holds an engineering degree from Chimie ParisTech - PSL and is pursuing a Master's in Research in chemical engineering, environment, and energy at Pierre and Marie Curie University.
