Dr Michal Wlodarski

Co-Founder & Chief Operating Officer at Solvemed Group

Dr Michal Wlodarski has diverse work experience spanning across various roles and industries. Dr Michal is currently serving as the Co-Founder & Chief Operating Officer at Solvemed Group, a VC-backed Neuroscience AI company focused on redefining neurology care and drug development. At Solvemed, they leverage proprietary machine learning technology to develop digital biomarkers for neurological drugs and establish affordable clinical examination and remote monitoring tools.

In addition to their role at Solvemed, Dr Wlodarski is an Honorary Lecturer & Mentor at UCL Institute of Ophthalmology, where they share their expertise and mentors students. Dr Michal is also involved with UCL School of Management as a Mentor & External Assessor, where they supervise and assesses MSc thesis projects on health tech innovation.

Dr Wlodarski is an adjunct Professor at IE University, where they serve as a visiting lecturer and teaches courses on relevant subjects. Dr Michal also possesses experience as a Principal (Life Sciences) at Cambridge Innovation Consulting Ltd.

Prior to these roles, Dr Wlodarski has also worked as a Clinical Pharmacist Pre-Reg (Pharmaceutical Care) at Basildon & Thurrock University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust, an Industrial Pharmacist Pre-Reg (Product Development) at GlaxoSmithKline, and a Research Assistant (Public Health Policy) at University College London.

Dr Michal Wlodarski completed their education in a variety of prestigious institutions. Dr Michal obtained a Bachelor of Pharmacy (MPharm) degree with first-class honours from UCL in 2012. Dr Wlodarski then pursued a Masters of Research (MRes) degree at the University of Cambridge from 2013 to 2014. Continuing their studies at Cambridge, they obtained a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in Biological Sciences from 2014 to 2017.

Aside from their formal education, Dr Wlodarski has also pursued additional certifications to enhance their skills and knowledge in the field. These certifications include the BIA PULSE Programme from the BioIndustry Association, the NVIDIA Inception Programme from NVIDIA, the P4 Precision Medicine Programme from P4 Precision Medicine Accelerator, the Panacea Stars Develop Programme from Panacea Innovation, and the Plug and Play - Health Programme from Plug and Play Tech Center.
